For example, if you want to go to Dubai you could consider flying from London to Sofia (i.e. a less popular airport) on Wizz Air and then Sofia to Dubai on the same airline, potentially saving you hundreds!

2. Hotel Sales: Take advantage of hotel sales during Black Friday and Boxing Day. Booking as a package deal through a travel agent or airline can provide the best value. Also, booking a package for long-haul trips tends to be cheaper than for somewhere like Europe.

By utilising the expertise of travel agents, who have access to exclusive deals and can negotiate on your behalf, ensures significant savings on luxury resorts and if you’re lucky they will get extras thrown in.
4. Travel Outside of Peak Season: Avoid peak season and opt for shoulder or low seasons to secure more affordable rates at luxury hotels. Embrace the shoulder seasons for exotic destinations or low seasons for European travels, where you can enjoy luxury at reduced prices. For example, even though it is monsoon season in the Maldives during May-October, you often only get a few hours of rainfall in a day, but the price will be up to 50% cheaper than high season.
