Where it all began
By day I’m a boring city lawyer but at all other times I am an adventure-seeking travel addict. 

My love for travel started at a young age when my parents whisked my sister and me away on road trips across the UK and Europe. Armed with an A-Z atlas, we ventured from one charming B&B to another, embracing the thrill of spontaneity. While the world has evolved, with sat-navs and pre-booked accommodations now the norm, my love for adventure and unearthing the world’s treasures has only deepened!

Enter: That First Big Trip
Fast-forward a few years to a spirited, wide-eyed young adult (or rather, a big kid) fresh out of university, eager to set foot on distant shores. Where did my wanderlust lead me first? Like countless others, I embarked on an unforgettable backpacking journey through Southeast Asia in 2014. Bound by a tight budget, I embraced the world of hostels— an experience that pushed me beyond my comfort zone, igniting a thirst for more.

Little did I know, this trip was just the beginning, as I soon found myself venturing solo to Japan, and backpacking around Morocco, Italy, Central, and South America. Off the beaten path, I discovered the true essence of each destination, immersing myself in local customs and savouring authentic cuisines.

My World of Travelling Today
After years of backpacking and finally achieving my dream of becoming a qualified corporate lawyer, I saved enough to embark on my first luxury trip to Bali in 2017. It was a revelation—an entirely different experience from sharing a room with ten fellow travellers and catching glimpses of cockroaches scurrying about. This indulgent escape kindled a fire within me, fuelling my determination to save for more extraordinary bucket-list adventures and “Insta-worthy” hotels and experiences, which I will share with you on this blog!
